GTA 6 Gameplay Series Part 1: 5 Massive Details You Missed
Rockstar Games has officially shattered the internet once again with the release of the Gameplay Series Part 1 video. While most fans were mesmerized by the stunning neon lighting and fluid animations of Jason and Lucia, we spent hours scrubbing through the footage frame-by-frame.
Here are 5 massive gameplay mechanics hiding in plain sight:
1. Physical Inventory System
Gone is the infinite weapon wheel. At the 1:12 mark, Jason is seen transferring an assault rifle from the trunk of his customized Declasse Tulip into a tactical duffel bag. You only carry what you can physically hold.
2. Dynamic Traffic AI
Traffic jams in Vice City are no longer static. At 2:04, you can see an NPC getting out of their car to argue with a taxi driver, creating a natural roadblock that players can use to their advantage during police chases.
3. Enterable Buildings
The mini-map (briefly visible at 3:15) shows interior layouts for almost every building on the Ocean Drive strip, suggesting an unprecedented level of verticality and interior exploration.
4. Advanced Weapon Customization
Lucia is shown attaching a makeshift suppressor and an extended magazine to her pistol in real-time, confirming that weapon modding can happen on the fly, not just inside an Ammu-Nation.
5. Next-Gen Crowd Density
The beach scene at 4:30 features hundreds of unique NPCs. We spotted people applying sunscreen, playing volleyball, and reacting dynamically to a low-flying helicopter.
